Conner J. Jipson
Sauquoit/Waterville-Conner J. Jipson, 27, passed away unexpectedly, July 6, 2023, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born October 28, 1995 the son of Bruce and Gail (Carney) Jipson. Conner graduated from Waterville Central School, Class of 2014. Following his graduation, Conner worked with Piersma Construction. He also pursued a career in HVAC, with his is most recent position as foreman at Standard HVAC & Insulation. On May 27, 2023, he married his best friend and the love of his life, Ariel Recchio, with who he shared countless, wonderful memories. Conner enjoyed all things outdoors, including motorcycling, snowmobiling and snowboarding. He especially enjoyed golfing with Ariel and his family. Conner was very interested in physical fitness, seldom missing a day in the gym. He shared his love of football, wrestling and hacky sack with his brother Cody. Chef Cody opened up his palate, influenced his fashion choices and engaged him in the occasional, “brotherly scuffle.”
Conner is survived by his wife, Ariel; his parents, Bruce and Gail; brother, Cody and his partner Olivia Raynard of Rome; father and mother-in-law, Marcus and Kristine Recchio; brother-in-law, Nikko Recchio all of Waterville; Aunts and uncles, Aggie Kelsey, Lyle (Donna) Wright, Brian (Kathy) Jipson, Nancy Yates, Pati Rasmussen and Kathy Jipson. He also leaves behind many heartbroken family members, cousins, great friends and his, “Best Man” Sean Furness.
Conner’s family would like to thank the first responders with SEVAC for their dedicated and tireless efforts to save Conner, the Emergency Department at Community Memorial Hospital, and the staff of the eighth floor of Upstate University Hospital for their care and compassion. Additionally, we would also like to thank Jenn Keida, and Conner’s entire “work family” Standard HVAC & Insulation.
