Catherine J. NolanEarlville-Catherine J. Nolan, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at the Crouse Community Center.She born on in Oneida, on September 15, 1934, the daughter of the late Clifford and Amanda Jaeger Nolan. Catherine was raised in Madison and graduated from Madison High School. In 1953, she married John F. Nolan, Sr. Their loving union lasted over 39 years until John's passing in 1992. Catherine had worked at the Waterville Knitting Mill in addition to be a mother and caring for 11 children. She had also been a volunteer at the Crouse Community Center. The majority of her life, Catherine had lived in Madison, until a devastating fire, destroyed the family home. She later moved to Hamilton, and has lived in Earlville the last three years. in She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother.Catherine is survived by her children, Daniel Nolan, and his life companion, Julie Smith, of North Carolina, Veronica Risley, and her husband, Christopher, of Pine Woods, Patricia Cochrane, and her husband, Phillip, of Indiana, Clifford "Fred" Nolan, of Earlville, Pamala Miles, of Oriskany Falls, Lucille Bienkowski, of Oriskany Falls William Nolan, Sr., and his wife, Grace, of Brookfield, Karen Howe, and he life companion, Albert Austin, of Madison, Susan Hartle-Wilkinson, of Lands Pond and John F. Nolan, Jr., of Earlville; her sisters, Dorcas Graham of Camden, and Fern Davis of Oneida, and her brother, Jim Bristol of Camden. 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive Catherine.She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, John, Sr., a son, Charles, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 2-4PM at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
