Casilda Elaine FargoOriskany Falls-Casilda Elaine Fargo,78, who everyone affectionally called "Tuanie," a life village resident, passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Home on Thursday, December 24, 2020.Tuanie was born in Oriskany Falls on December 2, 1942, the daughter of the late Morris and Florence Edgarton Howe. She graduated from Oriskany Falls High School Class of 1960. Tuanie had worked 29 years at Tucker's Big M Grocery Store in Oriskany Falls. She had a vast knowledge of the store's operation learning from George Tucker. Upon her retirement, she was deeply missed by many of the store's customers. During the years, she had developed many a relationship, with store customers, always there to help with a warm and friendly smile. Tuanie was always able to "warm" people's hearts. She will deeply be missed by all those hearts she touched. Tuanie was a parishioner of St. Josephs' Catholic Church. She most of all was a devote and loving mother and grandmother.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Renee and Grant Reade of Yorkville; a son and daughter-in-law Richard and Tammy Fargo of Oriskany Falls; a son Robert Fargo of Waterville; a brother and sister-in-law William and Janis Howe of Charlotte, NC; her sister and brother-in-law Joanna and William Spooner of Rhode Island; her beloved grandson Kevin Furness. Tuanie is survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.Tuanie was predeceased by her former husband, Gordon Fargo, and her parents Morris and Florence, and her brother John C. Howe.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the spring at St. Josephs' Catholic Church at a date to be determined. There are no calling hours. Interment will be made in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Oriskany Falls. Tuanie's family have entrusted her care to the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
