Carl F. Dilworth Jr.Bouckville-Carl F. Dilworth Jr.,73, passed away unexpectedly at Community Memorial Hospital, on Thursday December 2, 2021, following a medical episode at his home.He was born in Oneida, February 9, 1948, the son of Carl F. Dilworth Sr. and Frances Johnson Dilworth. Carl was raised in Erieville and was a graduate of Cazenovia High School. Having served in Vietnam, he was a proud Army Veteran. On June 21, 1969, at the United Methodist Church of Cazenovia, Carl married Jacqualine Dailey. Carl retired with 35 years of service from SUNY Morrisville. He held various positions at the college, Carl retired as the University's Master Locksmith. He served his community; Carl was a devoted and life member of the Madison Fire Department. He was also a member of the Oriskany Falls American Legion Post and former Cazenovia VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR Racing. Both Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were Carl's NASCAR favorites. Carl held a deep devotion and love to his wife, Jackie, and his daughter, Heather. He carried the grief of Heather's death until his passing. They are reunited in Heaven.Carl is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Jackie; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Kathy and Russell Stocker of Lexington, SC and Deborah and James Baldwin of DeRuyter. Many nieces and nephews and close friends also survive Carl.Carl was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Heather; his parents Carl Sr. and Frances; his brothers Edward Dilworth and Paul Dilworth; and his brother-in law Mark Dailey.Jackie is grateful to the heroic efforts of the Madison Village Ambulance Paramedics, the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of Community Memorial Hospital's Emergency Room. Also, a special thank you to her friends and neighbors who have offered support and love during this difficult time.Carl's funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 1 PM, at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison, with Rev. Carol Jubenville, Pastor, of the United Methodist Church of Bouckville, officiating. There will be calling hours on Tuesday at the funeral home from 11 AM until 1 PM, prior to the service. Interment with Military Honors will be made in Peterboro Cemetery. Carl's family has placed Carl's care and their care to the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
