Obituary : Brian E. Legacy Clinton, NY Brian E. Legacy, 69 passed away peacefully at the VA Hospital in Syracuse, NY on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 after battling a long illness.He was born January 20th, 1951, in Utica, to Lloyd Legacy and Katherine Legacy. He was raised in Waterville, NY. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War until his departure in 1976. Brian had lived in Utica previously, before residing in Clinton. He had worked for multiple security firms throughout Oneida County as a security officer. He was a past member of the Oriskany Falls Fire Department and the American Legion.Brian is survived by his two sons Thomas (Corina) Legacy and Mathew Legacy (his fiancé Ashley Hull); his brother Theodore Legacy and his Sisters Patricia Hynes and Dawn Schenk, also his special sister in law Audrey Legacy, as well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.Proceeded in death by his parents, his Sister Sandy Herring, his brothers Richard (Butch) Legacy, John (Jack) Hennessy III and William HennessyPrivate family interment service with Military Honors will be at the convenience of his family. Brian's family have entrusted his care to the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
