Bonnie L. Urben

Oriskany Falls-Bonnie L. Urben, 68, passed away peacefully at the Waterville Residential Care Facility on Friday, September 29, 2023, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Utica on May 19, 1955, the daughter of Kenneth and Winifred Jones Timian. On September 7, 1985, in Waterville, Bonnie married Michael Urben. For a time, Bonnie had worked at the former Beaton Motel in Madison, and also for the Colgate Inn.  Bonnie focused on being at home and caring for her children and working husband.  As grandchildren arrived, Bonnie also had a special place for them in her heart. She was forever in the kitchen preparing delicious baked goods.  Her love of family and her caring nature are her legacy.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband Mike; her children Lee Urben and his companion Lynsey Hendersen, of Madison and Jayne Hopkins and her husband Ed of Kirkville; her mother Winifred Timian of Waterville; her siblings: Debra Denision of Bridgewater, Linda Timian of Waterville, Lori “Dusty” Belfield of Waterville, and Joe Timian and his wife Sue of Waterville, Sam and Lynn Timian also of Waterville.  Bonnie also ls survived by 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Kenneth.

Bonnie’s family will gather to celebrate her life at a time and place to be announced. There will be no public services. Bonnie and her family are being provided with personal and professional care by Jeffrey T.
