Arlene I. ClarkBouckville-Arlene I. Clark, 77, passed away peacefully with the love and support of her family by her side, on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at Upstate University Hospital, following a courageous battle against cancer.She was born February 27, 1942, in Madison Center, the daughter of the late Russell and Irene Lollman Kemp. Arlene grew up in Madison and graduated from Madison Central School. On November 13, 1965, in Madison, Arlene married the love of her life, James Clark. Their loving and joyous union lasted 29 years. Jim predeceased Arlene in 1994. In 1996, she married Irving Clark, Jim's brother, their time together was short, as Irv passed away in 2001. She was a familiar face to many, as Arlene delivered the Herald Journal and Post Standard Newspaper to many area homes for 22 years. She later worked numerous years as a custodian, at the Randallsville New Life Christian School. She had a love for work and her daily interactions with the school children. Arlene was devoted to her children, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her siblings, and close friends. She will be deeply missed by all.Arlene is survived by her children, Julie Knowlton, and her husband, Bruce, of Homer, Michelle Warner, and her husband Jay, of Earlville, William Clark, and his wife Laurie, of Bouckville; Mark Clark, and his wife Brittany, of Milford, KS; her sisters, Norma McLain, of Bouckville, Nadene Wiley, and her husband, Richard, of Rome, and Gloria Lewis of Augusta; her brother, Donald Kemp, and his wife Lois, of Madison; a special and close friend, Lee Coon, of Earlville. Five beloved grandchildren, as well as four beloved great grandchildren also survive Arlene, along with several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Irene, her husbands, Jim and Irv, and a grandson, Jordan.Funeral services will be held on August 17, 2019, at 10 AM, at Arlene's Family Gravesite, located at Pine Woods Cemetery, on State Route 46, in Bouckville, with Pastors Julie and Bruce Knowlton, officiating. In keeping with Arlene's wishes there are no public calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
