Brookfield-Anna June Gray, 98, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, with the love and support of her family by her side, at Hamilton’s Community Memorial Hospital.


Anna was born on April 6, 1927 in Chadwicks, the daughter of the late John Booth and Katherine Jennings Booth. She known by loved ones by her middle name June. She was a lifelong resident of Brookfield. On August 25, 1949, she married her soul mate, Elwyn Kearn Gray. Their loving union was blessed with four cherished children: Michael, Candace, Karen, and Stacy. Prior to Kearn’s passing in 2017, they were “snow birds” having spent thirty winters in Okeechobee Florida.  June was always ready to play BINGO.  She also loved to read any novel that caught interest.  June’s greatest pride was her family who will forever cherish her love and devotion. 


June is survived by her four children: Michael Gray, and his wife, Susan of Leonardsville, Candace Pope, and her husband Barry, of Brookfield, Karen June Weaver, and her husband, Randy, of Bouckville, and Stacy Snyder, and her husband, Jerry, of Brookfield; 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.


She predeceased by her parents John and Katherine, her beloved husband of 67 years, Kearn, her cherished son, Lance, a cherished granddaughter, Megan, a cherished great granddaughter, Hailey.


In keeping with June's wishes funeral services will be private. Interment will be in the spring in Brookfield  Rural Cemetery.
