Anna C. BonoBouckville-Anna C. Bono, 90, passed away peacefully with the love and support of her children, on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at the Waterville Residential Care Center.Ann was born on August 4, 1927, in Oneida, the daughter of the late Daniel Norman and Martha Eloise Maine Crumb. She graduated from Sherburne High School. On December 31, 1945, at Sherburne's St. Malachy's Catholic Church, Ann married the love of her life, Joseph F. Bono. Joe and Ann were true soul mates and business partners. Together they operated the family farm, and enjoyed operating other businesses including: the Buck Board Ice Cream Stand, the Green Garden Fruit and Vegetable Stand, the Bouckville Antique Pavilion, and Bono's Mini Storage. Ann and Joe would always make time for family gatherings that would bring them such joy. They also enjoyed dancing with the Levi's and Laces Round Dancing Club several nights a week. Their loving union lasted 62 years until Joe's passing 2007. Ann had been a member of Home Bureau and a 4-H Leader. She was a life parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a caring, compassionate, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Ann is survived by her children, Joseph D. Bono, and close companion, Barb, of Bouckville, Ronald C. Bono, and his wife, Wendy, of Bouckville, and Michael G. Bono, and his wife Eleanor, of Ormond Beach, FL; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter: a brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Bonnie Paino, of Madison and a brother-in-law, John Paino, of Waterville; several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents, Daniel And Martha, her beloved husband Joseph, brothers John Crumb and Charles Crumb, brothers-in-law, Andrew Paino and Cesaro Bono, sisters-in-law Kathy Paino, Rosalie Crumb, Grace Paino, and Beatrice Bono Funeral services will be at Saint Mary's Catholic Church of Hamilton on Wednesday, September 20 at 2:30 PM. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to call Tuesday from 4-6 at the Paul Funeral Home, 3592 South Street Madison.
