Amy J. Klein Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Amy Jo Klein, who departed this life on December 11, 2025, with the love and support of her family at her side.

She was born on January 18, 1972, in Norwich, the daughter of the late William Campbell and

Marla Farris Campbell. Amy was raised in Smyrna, and was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville Central School. She made a career in Food service with the Morrisville School District.  Her motherly care extended beyond her own children, to providing care and guidance to many children in her cafeteria.  Over her many years at the school, she witnessed many of the youths she deeply cared for grow into young adults, and more over lifelong friends.  Amy was always a supportive farmer’s wife, doing whatever was necessary to help keep the family farm in operation. Amy’s family was the center of her world, daily phone calls to her children, and more importantly, a super spectator at every one of her children’s sporting events.  Amy was also known for her musical talent in her performances of karaoke at the Hotel Solsville’s Karaoke events. Christmas was always a special time for Amy, the magic of the holidays and all the love that was shared, along with making life long memories. Her dedication to this special holiday will be carried forward and preserved by her family. She loved anytime she could be at the lake, and enjoyed always being on the lookout for cardinals.  Amy will always be remembered for her deep love and concern for all that were in her life.  Her love and compassion for all is her life’s legacy.

Amy is survived by the love of her life and soul mate Gary Fuess; her children:  Brian (Madison) Klein, Brady (Ashley) Klein, Lucas (Jakub) Fuess, Garth (Cassie) Fuess, and Ethan Fuess; her siblings Todd Campbell and Scott Campbell.  Amy is also survived by her loved and cherished 5 grandchildren; the Fuess family; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.   \

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marla, and her brother, Dean Campbell.

Family and friends will gather for funeral services to be held at the Madison United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Jennifer Neidhart, Pastor, officiating on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 4 PM.
