Thomas M. Moe
Erieville-Thomas M. Moe, 44, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
He was born on July 21, 1975, in Syracuse, the son of Thomas S. Moe, and the late Sharon Lighthall. Tom was raised in the Camden area and in later years of his youth, lived with his dad and grandmother in Brewerton. He attended Brewerton High School. Tom worked as a flooring installer for M. D. Hardwood Floors of North Syracuse. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Tom was “his own man,”, living his life on his own terms. He was known to spoil his nieces and nephews that he dearly loved. “Tommy may have been suffering inside, but he truly had a heart of gold filled with love.”
Tom is survived by his loving family, his dad, Thomas S. Moe of Taberg; his maternal grandmother, Louise Ballou of Canastota; his sister Pamela Lighthall of Taberg, and her children: Jacob Lighthall and Alex Lighthall both of Rome, and Krista Thompson of Taberg; his brother Robert (Georgette) Moe of Madison, and his children: Ann Marie Hatch of Rome, Makenna Carnes, Jonathan Moe, Emma Jean Moe all of Madison; his sister Tabitha Paddock of Camden, and her children: Shealyn Paddock, Damien Paddock, and Evelyn Paddock all of Camden. Tom is also survived by his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He was also loved like a son by his extended family, Debra and Fred Felt of Sylvan Beach, their daughters, June, Hope, Jill, and their entire family.
He was predeceased by his mother Sharon Lighthall, and his paternal grandmother Shirly Moe.
Many aunts and uncles also predeceased Tom.
Due to current health concerns, NYS Health Department and CDC directives, Tom’ s immediate family will gather to privately honor Tom’s Life. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Tom’s family have entrusted his care and final wishes to the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit:
