Obituary for Patricia Ann Morgan

Patricia A. Morgan
Bouckville-Patricia Ann Morgan 87, formerly of Maple Avenue, and more recently of the Presbyterian Home, passed away peacefully at the home, surrounded with the love and support of her children on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
She was born in Utica on January 28, 1933, the daughter of the late Charles Klaus and Patricia Byrnes. Pat grew up in Utica and attended Proctor High School. In 1949, Patricia was united in marriage to Valentine R. Morgan. Their loving union lasted for 42 years, as Val passed away in 1991. Pat had worked 23 years at the Ye Olde Landmark Tavern located in Bouckville. She was faithful member of the Bouckville Methodist Church. She was always there to lend a hand to any church function. Pat was also former president and secretary for the Madison American Legion Post, 1556 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also enthusiastic, even in her seventies, to March in any parade to carry the banner for the Madison Central School. Pat and Val raised their beautiful family of 9 children. Their love for their children knew no boundaries. Whenever family was together, Pat would just “shine” in the warmth of her children’s love. Even in this period, when her children did not have direct access to their mother, they would come visit via her room window, her glowing loving smile would always acknowledge her families’ love for one another.
Pat is survived by her beloved children, Christine (Steve) Raville of Earlville, Kelly Spoor of Camden, Tracey (Keith) Thornton of Sherburne, Danny (Denise) Morgan of Albuquerque, NM, Paul Morgan of Solsville, and William Morgan of Eaton; 20 beloved grandchildren and 28 beloved great grandchildren. Pat is also survived by her friend and sister Charlene Jordon.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Patricia; her devoted husband Val; her two beloved daughters, Vallee Albert and Kathleen Morgan; and her beloved son, William Wayne Morgan.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, at 1 PM, at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. Interment will follow in Madison Village Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. www.paulfuneralhome.net
