Obituary for Linda L. Connors

Linda L. Connors
Munnsville-Linda L. Connors, 75, passed away peacefully with the love and support of her daughter and son-in-law Mischelle and Gary Branigan, at their home, on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
Linda was born on November 25, 1944 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Harry and Edith Shore Wootton. A life-long avid reader, Linda was a self-taught individual, earning her GED in 2001. She had lived for many years in Sierra Vista, AZ. Upon returning to New York, Linda enjoyed her career as a Health Aide and Activities Coordinator at the former Hazel Carpenter Home in Oneida, retiring in 2018. When Linda was not reading a variety of books, all at the same time, she would be found at her computer conversing via e-mail or playing computer games. Most of all, her family was the “center” of her life, and she will be remembered by all as a giving and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Mischelle and Gary Branigan of Pratts Hollow, her beloved son, Michael Wolicki of Costa Mesa, CA; her cherished grandchildren, Garth Liddle, Jr. and Gary (Nicole) Branigan, II; her 2 beloved great grandchildren, Miles and Sam Branigan; several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Edith; her husband, David Connors in 2000; her brother Harry “Sonny” Wootten, and her cherished grandson, Michael Liddle in 2017.
Her family extends heartfelt thanks to the nurses of Hospice Care for all their love and support given to Linda during her end of life care.
A celebration of life will be held for Linda at a future date. In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. To offer a condolence or to share a memory, please visit:
